Commercial diver dies in Bull Bay.

— A commercial diver working in Bay Bulls drowned on the job Tuesday.Police say the 45-year-old male diver was hired to work on moorings. He drowned just before 11:30 a.m.The man's name has not yet been released. Police believe the drowning was an accident, but they won't say exactly what happened. One of the local boat operators tried to help, says Cpl. Jim Clifford of the RCMP."The gentleman, we understand, was a contract diver, working on some moorings out here in the harbour in Bay Bulls. The gentleman's body was recovered in the harbor shortly after the accident," he says. Occupational Health and Safety is also investigating the accident.
