The Job site located at
http://www.UnderwaterJOBS.com is a job matching services specifically for the underwater professional. For the job seeker, submitting a resume and reviewing jobs is FREE .. with advanced options costing (in diving terms) about 2 beers a month. Employers needing skilled hands can submit jobs 24/7. Resumes and jobs can be matched and emailed to both the jobseeker and the employer. For Employers, there is a free trial option so they can see how it works for them. CADC members - will get an automatic "upgrade" into the advanced options section - another benefit of membership in the CADC. Although physically located in Canada, this website is intended for world wide use on all five continents (now you'll figure out what the bubble logo is all about.) If there is an air/water interface, this site is for your use. A underwater industry specific forum has started at http://www.UnderwaterINDUSTRY.com/bboard . The current forum located at CADC's website will be mothballed shortly and will move over to "UndewaterINDUSTRY" board site. The flagship website, http://www.UnderwaterINDUSTRY.com is scheduled to launch within the next couple of weeks and will incorporate the CADC.CA website within its community.
Professionals experiencing common problems or having solutions / news about working below a waterline - ANYWHERE - will benefit!. A community will be built to disseminate constructive information to better ANYONE in the industry of underwater work - including people with long sticks!
As one of the supporting sponsors and a tenant of the new site, members of the CADC will get free advanced options in all of the sites - another benefit of being a member - with more to come! Typing http://www.cadc.ca will STILL take the user directly to the CADC website section.
