After several months of preparation and hard work, Connors Diving Services has achieved its ISO 9001:2000 Registration. By realizing this goal, they join a very short list of commercial diving companies, not only in Canada but worldwide, that have this distinction. Connors Diving Services has built a reputation of providing superior quality products, services and training to its customers, by using innovative ideas with respect to the environment and safety.

At the beginning of 2003, management made a commitment to its customers and staff. By implementing a Quality Assurance Program, Connors Diving Services ensures that all goods and services meet a higher standard. It is this commitment to a higher standard that keeps customers coming back.

About ISO 9001:2000
The ISO 9001:2000 is among ISO's most widely known standards. ISO 9001:2000 has become an international reference for quality management requirements in business-to-business dealings all over the world.  ISO is a network of the national standards institutes in 148 countries, on the basis of one member per country, with a Central Secretariat in Geneva, Switzerland, that coordinates the system.
ISO 9001:2000 is primarily concerned with "quality management". "Quality management" means what the organization does to ensure that its products or services satisfy the customer's quality requirements and comply with any regulations applicable to those products or services. A Quality Management System allows a company to fulfill:
~        The customer's needs with regards to quality, and
~        Applicable regulatory requirements, while
~        Enhancing customer satisfaction, and
~        Ensure continual improvement of its performance in pursuit of these objectives.

What all this means
Connors Diving Services, having completed the registration, have ensured their customers that a strict quality program has been formed and implemented. Registered companies have had dramatic reductions in customer complaints, significant reductions in operating costs and increased demand for their products and services.
