</p><span lang="EN-CA">We are currently finishing off a unique
underwater concrete pour.<span style="">&nbsp; </span><span style=""></span>he only way we could get concrete to site
was with the use of a helicopter.<span style="">&nbsp; </span>Over a
period of 12 hours we had a helicopter overhead every 3 minutes delivering
concrete to the hoper which supplied the concrete pump and then the
divers.<span style="">&nbsp;</span></span>

<p><b><span class=dateline>VENTURA, Calif.</span><span class=dateline-separator> - </span></b>An Oregon diver working with a salvage crew was killed while trying to retrieve a capsized fishing vessel near Anacapa Island.Thomas Ohryn, 42, of Portland, Ore., was about 10 feet under water when he got caught Thursday morning between the submerged boat and a derrick, authorities said. He died at 10:47 a.m. at the emergency room of the Ventura County Medical Center.Ohryn was working with a commercial salvage company contracted to retrieve the fishing vessel New Horizon, which capsized Dec. 21 in an area known as the Anacapa Passage between Anacapa and Santa Cruz islands.The five people aboard the salvage vessel were unhurt, Coast Guard okesman Greg Zerfass said.The salvage crew was using a large crane to retrieve the boat and Ohryn got pinned about 10 feet below the surface. His air line was cut off and he was crushed, Deputy Medical Examiner Craig Stevens said.Coast Guard Ensign Tonya Harrington said the cause of the accident was being investigated. <em>(Tom&nbsp;Ohryn was active in commercial diving in Canada for many years and was well known.
